Hello, and welcome!

I'm Paul Glyph.

I write Gothic Americana, Southern Gothic horror, and mythic fantasy, where folklore, history, and the supernatural quietly intertwine with everyday life.

Rooted in New Orleans and inspired by the landscapes and legends of the Americas, my novels explore memory, identity, and the unseen forces that shape who we become.
Whether it's a cursed relic, an ancient force beneath the desert, or a child discovering the impossible, I hope each story leaves you with a sense of wonder long after the final page.

Thank you for stopping by.

I hope you find something here that stays with you.

PAUL GLYPH

AUTHOR

Paul Glyph writes Gothic fiction rooted in American history, folklore, and the supernatural. His stories blend horror, dark humor, eccentric characters, and philosophical questions about memory, identity, and what it means to remain human.

Whether exploring haunted New Orleans, forgotten Western towns, or impossible worlds where imagination becomes reality, his work is driven by atmosphere, mystery, and the belief that every place remembers something.

He wrote Fantastical Nature, a family fantasy novella for his son, Michael, whose wonder never fails to remind him that imagination is the truest kind of magic.
His novel, The God in the Dirt, is a literary Weird Western exploring the haunted borderlands of mythic horror, surreal fantasy, and theatrical adventure.
His third book, The Echo of It All, is a supernatural horror novel set in 1970s New Orleans that explores immortality, identity, and what remains after everything else has become an echo.

He lives in the Crescent City, where stories wander in through open windows and stay for tea.
